From extract brewing in their garage to a large commercial setup, as a father and son - Reno and Andrew have been brewing beer in one way or another for the better part of 15 years. Their bond has been strengthened by their mutual passion and the love of good quality Australian beer and their fury beer is no exception.

For Andrew, beer is a way that people connect and is a forum for showcasing what Australian producers are capable of. In his own words, “brewing is above all, about being proud of what we do, who we are and why we do it.. We stand for small independent business ; nourishing the industry we love so much.”

HOP NATION IS A FOOTSCRAY-BASED CRAFT BREWERY INDEPENDENTLY OWNED AND OPERATED BY GOOD FRIENDS – AND FORMER WINEMAKERS – SAM HAMBOUR AND DUNCAN GIBSON.

After jumping the fence from winemaking into brewing back in 2014 the pair opened up their brewery and tap room in July of 2016 to join the burgeoning Westside beer and culinary landscape. Since then the guys have been living up to their brewery’s namesake releasing several hop-driven beers showcasing high-quality ingredients with distinct origins.

Hop Nation is sustainably produced, operated and packaged. Read more here.

in other good news - charitable cause

In Other Good News, a live streamed, good news broadcast was created by Andy Fithall and his two sons at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the goal of breaking the monotony of sensationalised doom and gloom (which was dominating the news stories on TV and online), and give people something to watch that made them feel a bit better about an otherwise challenging situation.

As well as regular Facebook broadcasts, IOGN has created various events since its inception, including a coffee cart giving away coffee to locals, and fundraisers for Foodbank, an amazing charity which feeds thousands of vulnerable Victorians.

These events led to the creation of a line of premium coffee which sends a donation to Foodbank with every purchase. "Grindhog Day" coffee not only tastes great, but helps to put food on the table for those in need.

Sometimes we enjoy savouring a glass of quality wine. Not a whole bottle. And often we’d like to enjoy a selection of premium wines, not just one grape variety.

Just a Glass Australia was inspired by this very idea - producing premium local wines in single serve bottles. It’s an excitingly different drinking experience that lets wine lovers enjoy the labour of love that goes into producing local wines - one glass at a time.

Winemaking is a passionate craft: sourcing the best local grapes and producing quality wine full of character. Just a Glass Australia is proud to work with the very best producers in Victoria. All our wines are vegan and low preservative, and we’re fortunate to work with an amazing team of vignerons and winemakers.

Just a Glass Australia is proudly Australian made and owned, vegan and bottled with solar power!

Curated for lovers of just a glass…..x

We have travelled Australia to find the purest of flavours that are unique to our country and want to share our favourite ones with you in our new range of cocktails & soft drinks. Our native botanical extracts are from locally sourced fresh fruit originally picked wild by hand from hard to reach places across the continent (and some not so hard), blended with triple filtered Australian sparkling water and the finest fruit concentrates and floral extracts, matched with our signature triple distilled vodka.

There is a history of traditional use of the selected botanicals by our First Nations people. We give back to our First Nations communities through established programs and by donating to eg Aboriginal Literacy Foundation; Yiramalay Scholarship fund for the Yiramalay Wesley Studio School and Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA).

We aim to continue with the sustainable sourcing of our Australian native fruit and contribute to supporting the ~1000 seasonal worker opportunities that are provided to local communities and surrounds through our supply chain partners.

Over the usual beer, wine and spirits? Then try our vodka seltzer cocktails & skinny soft drinks today!

Purchase with purpose.

Why Shadowfax? Where does the name come from? In J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic, The Lord of the Rings, Shadowfax was chief among horses. He shone by day and passed unseen at night, and it was considered that Shadowfax would be a fine symbol for our winery.

We are proud to join our neighbours and compliment the selection offered within Positive Feeds gifting.

Helen’s career began as a youngster having left university and needing a job. Her innate desire to work as a cook landed her at William Angliss College to hone her knife skills and give it a shot. From there she embarked on a journey to many kitchens and encounters with wonderful hospitality mentors. There were days at the David Jones Food Hall, mornings as a breakfast chef in Brunswick St, mastering Toad in the Hole to the applause of pub goers in England , and fond memories of working alongside Greg Brown of Browns Restaurant and  Bakery fame, who inspired her with his relentless drive, passion and eye for detail.

Many lessons, scars and dishes later, Stir Crazy was born.

As tea specialists our aim is to be the gateway to the world of tea, creating memorable blends for everyone to enjoy and explore. Even though our passionate artisanal team scours the world to bring you the best tea, we have a small-picture approach when it comes to sourcing. All of our leaves are hand picked, ethically sourced and treated with care, and every batch is tasted and approved by our master blender who brings decades of family traditions and knowledge. We ensure the conditions are perfect for growing and picking so that the most flavoursome and sensorial tea is created for you. We have always sourced only seasonal and small-batch leaves and produce, so that the tea is in prime fresh condition for serving.

Ashok Dias founded Tea Drop after spending years working for a specialty coffee roaster. Being so immersed in the world of coffee, he noted a lack of quality tea. Ashok found a mentor in the head roaster, who encouraged him to follow his heritage and instincts and pursue the world of tea. He spent a year learning about the sourcing and serving of specialty tea in Australia before launching Tea Drop.

Ashok’s genuine love of tea is at the heart of everything Tea Drop does. He works closely with plantations from tea growing regions to develop the blends and infusions. He is also intimately connected with local communities to ensure the environment is treated respectfully, and gives back to many charitable organisations throughout the process.
